Sorry you guys we've had HEAPS going on. I have been stopping by and having a look in here and there but it was usually on my phone so I didn't post (hate posting via my phone). We've been applying and interviewing for Kindy for my son and High School for my eldest - got her acceptance letter yesterday woo hoo, they had over 230 applications for 180 places so we are very pleased she got a place. We've also had a heap of birthdays, family stuff going on.
Ruby has been doing really well the last month, she did have two minor set backs and we had to do the 24 hour fasts at home, the last one I thought we would end up at the vet again but luckily didn't. She has been a terrible pain with her food though, she was refusing to eat fresh fish and kangaroo which limited her proteins to chicken and turkey and the ground beef and vegie mix I ground myself for her. But she decided she didn't want the ground beef and veg anymore which left just chicken and turkey long story short after trying an am kibble and pm raw (as she was not getting enough variety of protein sources for me to feel comfortable about solely raw) that didn't work - even though I had previously fed the same way when she was a pup without any problems, we finally went to her limited ingredient kibble full time and she hasn't relapsed since. I plan on trying to get her back on raw in a few months - we are hoping to travel for a while so I will leave her on what she is doing good on for now as she will have to go to boarding and I will worry enough about her as it is and when we get back will try to transition her back to raw.
Thanks for wondering about us both, the kids are on winter break at the moment so I actually got time to log on and reply lol.
