Poor Roddy, it's never ending for him. Now he has come down with grass allergy - horrible red spots and pimples all over his tummy from running through the tall dried out grass. I really don't want him on antibiotics/steriods [in light of his other problems] which I just know the vet will prescribe, so I decided to try this option. I have sent a sample of his hair off and the practitioner is going to test them against 30 different things to see what it shows. She will then make a up a salve and send out some herbal powders for me to offer to Roddy to see whether he is licks them or not - it's kind of based on the idea that if he takes them then it is something his body needs, if he ignores them then it's not needed. It all sounds a bit "way out" to me tbh, but one of the other dogs I walk used to get grass allergy too and the owner tried this and it really worked for him, so fingers crossed for poor Roddy.

Here's the link, if you then click on "animal treatments" and then kinesoilogy it explains a little about it: http://www.theholisticapproach.co.uk/
