Thanks again Sally, I will keep him on them then especially as I am still experimenting with different foods at the minute. I'm kind of reaching the conclusion that this boy needs some carbs in his diet to bind him up abit. When he had his last diarrhoea spate - he seems to have them regularly - I fasted him and then gave him chicken and rice for a couple of days and his poops were really good. I have him on a really sensitive dog food at the moment that has both wheat and rice in it - I know these ingredients are not natural to a dogs diet but his poops are so much better if I add this to the better quality Orijen on a half-half basis. If I give him Orijen on it's own, his poops are just a messy blob and I don't want him eating just the sensitive stuff. I'll keep searching though - there are alot of good dog foods on the market nowadays - something out there has to suit him! Thanks again Sally, for all your help with this, Roddy sends you lots of licks too - I'm sure he must be feeling heaps better too.
