The American Kennel Club categorizes Boxer Dogs as the largest breed registered in the "working dog" category.

They were trained as courier dogs on the battlefields during World War I and World War II.

The standing height of a full-grown female is 21 - 25 inches at the shoulder, and weight between 50 and 65 pounds. The male can be taller and 15 pounds heavier.

If you ask a boxer dog owner about the resemblance of his dog to himself, he'd probably tell you that his dog can almost mirror his mood!
