Coco and the hairspray can
To remove this ad please Register
Coco is not liking me spraying a fly with hairspray.... one of those home remedies to kill a fly. It doesn't even slow this fly down... he must be on crack! I've been soaking him and he is still flying around me right now! Just that one fly..... driving me crazy!

Maybe you can switch to a Dustbuster. I think that works pretty well.

I haven't had one of those in YEARS.... I didn't know they even still sell them, but that does sound like a good idea.
I was trying to Swat that fly since yesterday but he never settles down on anything..... how long do they live in a house. I think I remember reading once they can live 2 weeks inside.

They can sense the movement of air toward them, from flyswatters, and take off. It's more difficult that way. A dust buster works very well because there is no air flow toward them. Just be sure you empty it outside because they do survive the journey and become little "Jonah's" in there, lol!

They are nuisance that's for sure - I hate the noise they make - the buzz, buzzing noise - it's never ending - I run around here with newspapers trying to flap them outside the patio door. If we have one in the room at night, we turn the light off in the room we are sitting and put one on in another room - the flies or mossies will nearly always fly to the light then we shut the door and shut them in there, in the morning we try and get them out again.
Your video made me LOL - I see Rex joining in with all the barking --------from a distance............!

Ya, Rex has that tendency to bark on the sidelines. I am laughing at him and he doesn't even know why the poor thing, LOL... he is just silly, he had no clue what was going on.

Yes, I kind of thought that too. Same kind of the thing happens here alot - Ruby will 'hear' something [no idea what she hears half the time!!] then she'll bark and run outside. Roddy can be asleep but as soon as she barks he starts barking and follows after her - sometimes they both get to the door at the same time and scramble with each other - both of them trying to be the first one to get outside. I'm pretty sure neither of them have a clue why the other is barking or running outside either. Jakey just lies there watching them....I swear he thinks they are both quite bonkers.
