That would be nice. Ruby could help Buddy watch over it all. He's quite serious about it but I do think he could use some help - give him a night off, lol!

I really do think Buddy senses the season starting to change. He stands there REALLY REALLY still sometimes with just his nose flaring as he takes in these very rapid almost micro breaths. Like some highly sensitive analysis is going on. Then he looks at me like, "Do you smell that?" And of course, I don't. This is his domain and I can only look at him and marvel. I wish he could talk.

i dont want winter to come either, although i love Fall with all the leaves to chase and play in. but fall means winter and winter just sucks, expecially for those of us with dogs that dont do too well in really cold. i guess i will have to get Bo a coat.

Could you seriously live with just one season though? I mean if I had to sweat my butt off alllllll the time I'm not sure I could handle it. On the flip side if I had to freeze my butt off I wouldn't be able to handle it either. I like change!

I really know what you mean. I really like having 4 distinct seasons. I used to really only mind Jan & Feb because I missed the sunshine. But last year we started supplementing vitamin D and found that really helped the depressing feel of winter. A couple of friends of mine had the same experience. The only side effects we noticed were nobody had colds or flu, lol!

I love Summer, but I also really do enjoy all the seasons and agree with you that I wouldn't want to have just one season, no matter how great it seemed.
