Edy is Remy's mom .
Edy will be 5 in May and Remy turns 6 months this week .

WOW Remy has grown so much, I can't believe how big he is next to Edy. Missi when do boxers stop growing? is there an approximate age, or does it vary from dog to dog? Also, I am just wondering what relevance [if any] does the parents height have on the puppies height too - are the males likely to be the same height as the father and the girls like the mothers height? or does that vary as well - just wondering if there is a 'rule of thumb' or something that breeders go by on this subject maybe?

oh my bad, his mommy...now how big is remy now? and how big his edy? he looks like hes catching up to her fast.

Boxers will usually reach their adult height around 12-18 months old , but depending on their lines they can take up until age 3 to fill out .

You can usually get an idea of how big a puppy will get if you look at the parents and even the grandparents .

But as with everything there are always exceptions to the rule .


Edy is just under 24 inches at the shoulders ( whithers) and Remy measured at 21 inches at the whithers last time I checked .

Edy weighs 55 pounds normally , the last weigh in for REmy was about 2 weeks ago and he was 40 pounds .
