To remove this ad please Register Hey all, figured I hadn't uploaded any new pictures lately! I've misplaced my camera lately... So I've been taking poor quality pictures on my phone haha.
Yin and Yang!  Figured I would include this one. Our newest bull calf! This year is a 'N' year for names. His name is Nero. Stocky little guy!  Lastly, Shenzi at our St. Patrick's day party. She fell asleep just laying there, we had to add the prop haha!  |

Yup, he's an angus calf. We bought his mother as a bred heifer (meaning a cow that hasn't had a baby before) in Missouri a few months ago. He's a gorgeous little guy! We will most likely be keeping him for about a year and then selling him as breeding stock if his breeding soundness exam is good
 If you guys like seeing the cattle pictures so much, I'd be glad to post some more, especially now since it's calving season! I always take pictures and name them all; my boyfriend tells me not to get too attached, but I can't help it! I'm going to the farm today to tag and vaccinate three new calves along with starting to synchronize a few heifers for AI. Should be interesting! Shenzi is not coming today though, she causes too much trouble haha! |

I love Angus and all cattle for that matter, what an honorable profession to breed cattle...

My boyfriend's family has been breeding cattle for a few decades. It's a field I'm excited to get into!

shenzi seems so skinny and lanky, how old is she? and super cute calf, is it hard not to get attached? we used to have a herd of ducks (is it called a gaggle or something?) and FOOLISH mom let us name them......they were doomed to be eaten......mom couldn't bring herself to eat any...
