She looks so calm! Buddy would be going ballistic if there were a bunny outside the door.

I really don't know! But I'm afraid to find out!!! I do know what Rex did to that poor chipmunk that is no more. I don't know if he was just playing with it to hard or what, because I didn't actually see it till it was too late.
If Coco would treat it like she does a treat when I give her, she paws it all over the floor, sliding it around, like a cat playing with something.

We have acres of forest bordering us on the south, with lots of wild animals like deer, coyote, etc. But also little moles, voles, etc. For some reason this summer there have been a number of dead moles/voles (whatever!) that Buddy manages to find and bring to me.
He's not really wanting me to have them, he mouths them, plays with them like Doreen said, and really doesn't want to give them up. But it's so gross! As soon as I realize what he's got, I say "Leave it" so he drops them and I can pick them up (with a baggie, of course) and dispose of them.
If he sees a bunny outside he goes crazy! Even a squirrels. They sit outside eating leftover birdseed and he whines at the window like they were sent to torment him.
Birds, he could care less about. Although I see him watch them sometimes. Go figure.

Coco really watches birds too.... she doesn't like them in our yard and will chase them when she goes out there, LOL. Rex doesn't care about them. My old Roxy didn't like birds in our yard either yet Rufus couldn't care less if they were there either. Funny how both my females don't/didn't like birds in the yard and the males don't care. Yet I have a bird in my house, LOL. Which they don't seem to care much about unless I am cleaning the cage and put the cage down low. They come sniffing. I wouldn't dare leave them alone in the room with the cage low, but they don't attack the cage when I am there either.

O man, I first read this as "after she ate the bunny." I'm all for raw feeding, but ick!
