You know in the deep dark recessess of my mind, I think I read some theory - no idea where now, that dogs don't like it when people hug because the behaviour is similar to what dogs do when they are about to fight - eg, lock together. Maybe Tie is warning the 2 of you to back off? It also explains how, many times dogs will actually physically come between 2 people hugging as they are trying to diffuse the situation, eg, stop a 'fight' from breaking out......
Does this make any sense? lol, lol...........

Out of all my Dogs the only one that ever made a Fuss over People Hugging was my Mini Dachshund Maggy,anytime people would hug she would start barking & jumping around.It really didn't matter who was hugging,she would do the same thing.I sure miss Her,she passed away after 12 1/2 Years.
