The dogs and I decided this morning to spend our US winters in Australia and come back to Michigan for the US summer. Best of both worlds. I'll have to smuggle the pups in though since I don't really want to deal with that whole quarantine thing.

There may be a way around that, I know if travelling from the States to the UK if you provide certain paperwork (sorry can't tell you exactly what it is) you can get passed the quarantine, it may be very similar here.
I would love to learn to ski and the kids would have a ball playing in the snow.

We should trade houses for a month in the winter, LOL.
DH is going with my son on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) at 4 am when the mall opens to go buy new skis and ski boots since DH has to go to work that morning too.

I complain about the cold too, LOL. I dread the thoughts of having to wear a parka again!!!!!! I don't like to mess up my hair, and sitting in the car with a parka on,.... not fun, I get too hot when the heat is on.... so it is turn the heat on... turn the heat off... what a pain, LOL. There are so many buttons to push on cars these days, I can't even find the heat modes, especially since they have extra buttons for the back seat area, so I am really roasting then, LOL... I just don't like winter! I tend to hibernate, LOL.
