1st December!

It's already the 1st December here today! The kids opened their Advent Calendars this morning and are very excited that Christmas is not far now. The end of the year is coming around so fast it's scary, the year just went by in a blur. I will give in and let them put the tree up now lol. When do you guys put your tree up? Also what are your wishes/plans for 2010? I just want a nice quiet year - it was not the best of years this year .... or last year either, they were both so full on with lots of dramas and sadness, I also hope to have a special holiday with my family at some point in 2010.

I can't believe it either. DH put up the Christmas lights on Thanksgiving morning since it was a nice day. He just turned on the lights tonight for the first time. I guess for our anniversary! 36 years today!! Wow, time sure does fly.
I am looking forward to a healthy New Year! It hasn't been the best year around here either with health. I lost my mom in April, my sister in law still in coma, my daughter in law's mom was in a coma the other day, but is getting better and out of the coma now. another friend had 3 tumors removed, one cancerous. DH just clunked himself in the head the day before while up in the attic working on electricity. I thought I might need to call medics and get him out of the attic if he passed out. He was bleeding pretty good and getting nauseous and all I could do was hand him a clean rag to put on his head from a hole in the ceiling. It has been a bad couple of weeks around here. He is fine now, but looks like he had a nose job with purple under his eyes... he actually hit the bridge of his nose, right between the eyes and under one of them too.
So yeah.... I could use a quieter new year! My stomach has been in knots lately because of all of these goings on.
Here's to a better New Year!

Well, I am thinking this weekend to go find where I put the tree last year and all the decorations for it – whether it happens or not remains to be seen. One year the tree went up after Christmas – we had visitors coming for New Year so I had to put it up for them! I do love looking at it when it’s up, so pretty and sparkly, yes, I’ll try this weekend!

No plans for the New Year really, just a wish that everyone I know could be happy and healthy.

happy anniversary .
We put our tree up on sunday , the kids wanted it up .So after a 9 hour trip and only getting a few hours of sleep , we managed to get it put up .
I hope for a healthy and stress free 2010 . There always seems to be something stressful going on with someone in our family . It would bo soo nice for a break from that . And hopefully a bunch of healthy and beautiful boxer babies in the house sometime in 2010 .

Happy Anniversary Doreen!! Hope you had a good one...and many more!! It does feel like only a few yrs, doesn't it? Dave and I have only been married 15 yrs...but it still feels like a yr or so....i guess that's a good thing, right!?! LOL
Gizelle, i know it hasn't been an easy yr for you...please know you/your family are always in my prayers
I have to be honest...i'm terrified of 2010...i really want my mom to beat cancer....we're very close and i'd like to have her around for awhile longer.
I should be getting my 3rd boxer in 2010 WOOHOO!!
My oldest is starting high school in Sept 2010.
I pray that ALL of you are healthy & happy!!!!
And noooo...i haven't put up my Christmas tree yet...shame on me LOL
