Well since your rubbing it in Tanny I"ll join you lol - it was a nice 29 (84 in F) today, they have also issued a "Severe Thunderstorm Warning" typical summer weather, hot for a few days and then thunderstorms before the heat returns. Yesterday was soo hot (didn't check what it was as I was at the beach from 10am to just after 5pm) but I had to put sunscreen on us every two hours instead of every four as I could feel it starting to burn! I just sat in the shallow water talking with my GF (trying to get relief from the heat) while the kids swam and looked for fish.
Oh man!!!! I know I must have asked before, I have a bad memory, LOL., but how cold does it get in the winter for you?

Thanks Gizelle, a hat! - well I don't think I could have even guessed at that.

We have had more snow here today.

Since the olympics are here I figured I would post a link of the 'official olympic toque apparel'. Their are many different styles and trends but generally a togue is a hat that is made of a warm material and generally covers your ears. Other than those requirements it is pretty broad!

Thank you Dragon for posting that, honestly I drive myself mad with questions sometimes......I see from the pictures then that a toque is really just a general term for a type of warm hat! LOL, I looked in my dictionary [Longman Dictionary of the English Language, 1984] and this is what it said:

Quote:
"a woman's small soft brimless hat made in any various cloesly fitting shapes [MF, soft hat with a narrow brim worn esp in the 16th c, ...]"
The bit about it being a "woman's hat" was what got me most puzzled!
