What's your National Food Dish?

In England it's fish and chips [often accompanied by garden or mushy peas!]:

I think here in the U S it is more of regional foods than a country food.
Here in maryland the local favorite is crabs - crab soup , crab fritters , steamed crabs , etc...

Here in NJ we are known for Jersey Corn and Jersey Tomatoes... not a food dish, but that is our state's best fare. New Jersey is also known to have the most Diners anywhere.
I don't think we have a National dish.
I guess Andrea is right, probably here in the states, it would have to be Mc Donalds, LOL LOL.
I was also thinking pizza. I know around here there is a pizzeria just a stone's throw from each other!!

I've been thinking about this and what came to mind was Meat Pies, Vegemite, Lamingtons, ANZAC biscuits and BBQ's lol cause it's too darn hot to cook inside during summer.
