I applied for 14 jobs this weekend. Some in childcare, most in office settings. If anyone could spare some prayers/good thoughts/anything I would appreciate it. Last week was REALLY bad, I'm hoping I'm at a new job by April at the latest.

Now I just have to figure out what to say when I quit. I'm thinking "you're insane" might be too rude. Maybe something along the lines of "neither of us are happy with our current work situation and I think it is best we cut ties". I think I will try to stay on two weeks from when I quit, just to be nice, but I'm hoping she will tell me she doesn't need me anymore.

Positive thoughts heading your way

As to what to say, I think "I quit" would suffice

Andrea, I am happy that you made the decision to start looking elsewhere. Lots of thoughts and prayers going out for you.

Good Luck with your job hunt. As for what to say when you quit you really should check out the sleep talkin man, there are a few of his mumblings that would be a laugh in that situation lol.
Seriously though maybe "Thank you for the opportunity you have given me, but I feel this is not working out for either of us"
or lol
"Thank you for the opportunity you have given me, you have given me alot of insight into the kind of parent that I never want to be. I will pray for your children each night that they may grow up to be strong and balanced individuals in spite of you and your lack of parenting" ....maybe thats a little too much ha ha ha ooh I just read it back and it's just nasty
