We are snowed in here in NJ, but where is everyone? Well, we don't have it half as bad as in Washington DC! Glad I'm not there, LOL... Around there they got 32 inches of snow!
I am having a hard time trying to keep the dogs inside! Rex keeps ringing the bells, but he just wants to go out and play. I don't want Coco out running since she is still limping (except when running!) I feel bad letting Rex out to play and she just sits at the door and whines, watching him...
Then there is the, drying them off every time they come in.... ugggghhhhh... my floors are a mess!! But what's a mom to do, LOL. If it isn't snow in the winter, it is mud in the spring, summer & fall.....

LOL, never a dull moment in your house is there? Sorry to read you have more of the white stuff! We have been snow free for 2 weeks now, but we are forecast to have more of it - what happened to Cocoa's leg? [did I miss a post somewhere?]

I don't know what happened... probably pulled something in her joint. It doesn't keep her down... as a matter of fact, they are right behind me going at it and they just came inside from running in the snow again! She doesn't limp bad after laying around for awhile or in the morning, but as the day goes on and she is SO active, naturally, she starts limping badly again.... until she starts running again!

Oh poor Cocoa. Did you check her pads, there's no tears or anything? One of the dogs I walked was like this, fine when running around but limped when walking, it's weird. The vet said he had split pads and we had to do salt water washes and put vaseline on them 3 times a day. If it's a muscular thing you can do hot/cold treatment, I wrote up about it here:
Keepers is hurt!
Don't know if any of this helps at all. Rest is probably the best cure, but that's $64,000 question - how do you get a boxer to rest????

i can't complain really. We've had a pretty good winter here in Ontario in terms of snow. It's been fairly cold though

Almost makes me feel guilty writing this--we have been in the low to mid 50's (farenheit) for over a week now, with very little rain. They are predicting more rain in the coming week (sort of back to normal for an Oregon late winter/early spring)--but no one better dare to complain since the rest of the country is buried!

We've got a blizzard moving in tonight. 8-12" on the way. So I went to the grocery store this morning. As long as we don't lose power we'll be all set. Buddy will love it - more snowballs!!!

I heard about your bad weather on the news over here, they said Maryland was pretty bad - isn't that where Missi is ?from Would it have ruined her travel plans (hope it didn't, would be so disappointing for her).
Don't worry Doreen spring will be there before you know it.
