Valentine's day

What's everyone doing to celebrate? Do you buy cards/gifts for your other half? We buy cards for each other, but not gifts anymore. We stopped going out for meals on the day itself because everywhere is just tooo busy. We will go out to our favourite [Greek] restaurant on Saturday though instead and kind of celerbate it then.

On Sunday, we'll just spend the day walking the dogs, and having a veggie roast - like we do most Sundays!

We are the same as you guys..... only cards now.... I may bake Ron a cheesecake, hid favorite, or who knows what...

We never go out to eat on the holiday. Way to crowded... we like to be in and out.... we don't even linger for tea and dessert after.

We talked about a movie and a meal......then DH told me his friend and his family are coming up sooo we will probably be showing them around the local sites and beaches. DH said he nearly picked me up some new diamond earings, but didn't (he knows I am picky lol and it's better to let me choose). He did ask if I wanted to go pick out a Pandora bracelet and charms, but when I asked him what he wanted he said nothing so I passed on the bracelet - we don't normally do gifts on valentines day so don't see the point in starting now.

We do cards. And we're going out to our favorite martini place and then over to a show called "cowgirl cabaret". Our spinning teacher is hosting it and it sounds like a hoot.

We have a number of things going already with friends and such so I don't think we have anything additional planned.
