OK... now it is Memorial Weekend here... any plans?
To remove this ad please Register The only day we have plans is for Sunday, a BBQ at my Sister in laws about an hour's drive up northwest. It is going to be hot that day! She has a beautiful pool, but I know the water won't be warm enough for me to swim in yet. She doesn't keep it as warm as I do. I like mine to be like bath water, LOL LOL. Plus with all the kids in there, the splashing will make me colder, LOL. I don't mind getting splashed in the middle of summer, but it is just too early. Especially since it cooled down alot the past couple of days.

nope no major plans here. We just took the dogs for a swim in the river though!

A nice relaxing weekend compared to last weekend!
 I will work on the patio extension. We are adding on so we can add a fire pit for those cold summer nights...lol.More like roasting marshmallows in the fall...yum, yum.

I am going back up to Mass to pick up Edy .
 Fly up Sat morning and a very long drive back home Sat night . My parents are driving back with me and staying the long weekend so maybe a cookout on Monday after we recover.

We're hanging out enjoying some beautiful weather. Sunny and in the 80's except for a storm that whipped through here early this am. Dropped about 1.3 inches of rain and winds up to 60mph. But now it's gone and things are lovely again.
You can't beat a Michigan summer! (imho anyways)

Had an unexpected day today.... My Daughter in law called and asked to come over today. They were suppose to go to her cousins for a BBQ, but it was Way too hot and humid today and the cousin has no pool or no shade in her yard, so they would rather be here in my pool. Good thing I keep extra food in the freezer at all times, LOL. Great day for the pool until later when a thunderstorm whipped up quickly late in the day.
