.......the State rooms at Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures inside - pity - some of the rooms are really beautiful. Still, here's a few of the outside. I was actually quite surprised to find that the Palace is made up of 4 buildings together in a quadrangle, housing over 700 rooms! The Queen and Royal family reside in one building and various staff, offices and any staying guests are housed in the other buildings. The State rooms are rooms that the Queen uses to entertain important guests and visitors - eg, other Heads of State, dignitaries, diplomats etc. They include the Throne Room, Ballroom, Music Room, Dining Room with a table that could seat 47 people

and lots of other rooms where one could just sit and enjoy the views.
