Riley (I keep forgetting how she spells it so every time I write it, it comes out differently, LOL) is 4 months old.

My daughters other 2 dogs are certified to go to hospitals and nursing homes to be with sick patients, can't remember what the name of that is. The owner of the company knew she would also bring this lab in to be trained and certified, so she let them have Riley from her litter.

Wow, he seems pretty big for 4 months. That's great work your daughter does, so he will be something like a PAT dog - Pets As Therapy we call them over here, that's really great. My last dog, Sherry would have been good at that - she was so lovely natured and friendly, Ruby is abit too nervey/skittish and Jakey is far too wary around people he doesn't know.

Yes, they are therapy dogs. She did seem big to me also... but she had the softest puppy fur.... awwwww.... Even though I really didn't want to be handling her since she was all soggy and slimy from my dogs mouths all over her, LOL LOL.

I used to take my past boxer, Rufus to the nursing home all the time to visit with my mom and my uncle. He loved all the attention and wasn't afraid of the walkers, wheelchairs etc, since he was used to having them in our house all the time. He wasn't a certified Therapy dog, but he could have been with the personality he had. What I had to do was show proof of his updated shots and his license to bring him in there and they kept it on record. But the nurses aids were usually afraid of Rufus since he was, to them, a very large dog, LOL, and as we all know, people are threatened by boxers, LOL. The patients weren't afraid at all though, they loved him.
