Default My Neighbors Are Annoying

Yesterday it was 14 degrees in our house (57F) and the neighbors were rocking the ac at 7:00am!!

Makes you think what they have it set to!

And even more annoying than that is the fact that they have a dog, which we NEVER see. They rarely let it out for a pee/poo and they NEVER walk him...never

Do you have an annoying neighbor?

Not since I moved into this new house 3 years ago. My old neighborhood was HORRIBLE. I had the league of nations there so I had Latino music blaring on my right (and they always had the doors and windows open!) I had Reggae on my left, on the corner they would sit out on the porch and play bongos, across the street it was heavy metal, at least my other neighbor (who was my friend) played Classic Rock, so that I liked, cause we had to drown all that out with our Classic Rock while we were swimming in our pool or hangin in the back yard.

Here, you don't hear a peep. Except for our Classic Rock out by our pool, but we don't have to drown out any neighbors here, we can keep it on low, LOL.

No dogs barking... except for mine when they are playing roughly... I must be the neighbor that others hate now, LOL.

Our neighbors on the back side are wierd but at least mind their own business. On the one side is a retired cop and his wife and they are my free security. We just got new neighbours a couple months ago on the otherside. On friday they brought home an 8 week old golden retriever girl names sasha. No bad neighbors thank god!

When I live with my parents our enighbors had a springer paniel in a 10ft by 4ft dog run. They left it there 24/7. We called the spca numerous times as the poo was never cleaned up and they never left it fresh water. very sad

We live in a condo association - 64 neighbors. Most (~80%) don't live here full time though. So we only see them sporadically, mostly throughout the summer. There's a couple that are a little odd to us, but most of them are really quite nice. The folks we know the best (live above us) are the best neighbors we ever had - like family.

That's kinda weird about their dog. Do they have a fenced yard he runs in? At least you don't hear him barking. That would be really annoying!

all our neighbors are family.. well my hubby's family so, YES they are very annoying. everyone always knows everyone else's business and not in the good way either. its not that i don't like them but i just am not all that fond of them. and when i say they are all family im not exaggerating i mean that out 7 people in a quarter mile radius 5 of them a family.

That could be rough.

My direct neighbours are fantastic, on one side is a young guy who bought his first house, you never really see him and he is patient with kids toys and balls going over there all the time. On the other side is a young family, they have a daughter the same age as my son and some days they are going to get married when they are bigger lol they are really easy to get along with and are even allowing us to use their yard to get the diggers into our yard to dig for our pool, even though their yard is being turned into a mess while it's happening (we are getting the affected areas returfed when it's done). We only have 7 houses in our street and most neighbours are okay there is only really one that is really nosey and annoying but they don't really affect us very much.

We have a school one side of us - no problems really with them, on the other side we had the most fantastic neighbour - he was such a good man, great to have a chat with and so interesting. He used to play the harp with the London Symphony Orchestra, and it was so beautiful listening to him practise. Sadly he died a year or so ago and a property developer bought his house - this propety developer has made no end of applications to the council to try and develop the house into flats and we and the neighbours the other side of him have to keep objecting. He has the house rented out at the minute -- we see one man coming and going sometimes but he never speaks to anyone. The house directly opposite us is up for sale - the property market is still pretty depressed here though, it's been empty for months.

Our block is like Wisteria Lane. But in a good way - everyone is friendly and we even celebrate with a block party once a year. Ron, one of our neighbors is like yours with the air conditioning... always on. Luckily it is on the other side of our driveway so we don't hear it unless we're in our driveway and even then theirs is quiet. One neighbor also never takes their dog out (at least I never see them take it out). It is a Shiz tsu.

Unfortunately--we may be the annoying neighbors. Wally is absolutely certain that his job is to run out and bark at the neighbor dogs any time he might hear them. Our fence is 4 ft tall, so he can see over it, and we are currently trying to decide the most cost effective way to put in something taller in the hope if he can't see it, he'll stop. Of course, their dogs bark back, so they really can't say anything, but the other neighbors have no dog and a little boy about 1 yr old--they never say anything, but I imagine they'd appreciate a bit more quiet! (at least that baby can sleep thru anything!)
