I'm on my way out the door in a minute to Bed Bath and Beyond to pick up a gift. Then onto the grocery store to start getting the fixings for Christmas Eve foods. Then I think I am finished. Anything else will just be extras, but nothing needed! Oh... made a mistake. Still have to go shopping for a small microwave for my father in law for Christmas/birthday gift, but need hubby to go along for that one this weekend. He needs it to fit exactly on a cart and be able to hold a toaster on top so it has to be a certain measurement.... he is always a problem, LOL LOL...

No tree at our house yet either! I have earmarked tomorrow night and Saturday for prep and Sunday for decorating---high off the ground so Wally doesn't eat them..

Did I tell you all that I did end up putting the fence around the tree again this year. I came home one day to find some pieces of chewed up pine cones from the Christmas tree under the tree. I don't know which one did it, but guess they just can't resist those pine cones.

On another note. Yesterday, my next door neighbors cut down both of their pine trees that would drop all the pine cones into my yard! No more picking up those sticky things before the dogs get them!!!! And no more pine needles in my swimming pool, and extra sun to heat my pool too instead of casting afternoon shade, cooling the water down and making me cold while in it.

And a third note... I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and didn't get sucked into an abyss. Only came out with 2 extra tiny little items for the grandkids that I didn't plan on, besides the one gift that I went in for. Plus I got to use my 20% off coupon! I did good!

Yep, same gate as last year, different room. I put the tree in the family room this year since I no longer have 2 crates up there. Not the best way to look at a tree, but at least I don't have to worry anymore, LOL. And if I ever wrap the gifts and put them under, I won't have to worry about them going for the gifts either.

Yet, this thing right down on the coffee table, they don't touch. A stuffed thing that if you push the button it jiggles and sings and rings a bell. I don't understand these dogs, LOL.
