I'm SO glad hubby gets that duty! All I have to contend with is wiping puppy-butt afterwards. (pesky curly tail!) Heck- I had rotator cuff surgery on Jan 12th, and I'll bet hubby has only done tushy duty about 3 times! There I am, standing on my head, with one functioning arm, cleaning up the pup! He does have his hands full with yard duty tho--and we only have one!

It's been a real warm spell here too but starting tomorrow the temp will fall and it will get colder again. Probably another month before we can truly start to say Spring's on the way.

there has been snow covering the ground for the past 2 months so i was only picking up the poop on top, but this week it is up in the 40s and 50s... and OMG all the snow is melting and there is SO MUCH POOP!!!! our pooper scopper broke a while back so i had to use a baggie.!!! i picked up probably 15 lbs of poop! and thats not even all of it, my back was hurting so i saved the rest for tomarrow.... come spring time i am never missing even one day of poop patrol! and im going out this weekend to get a stronger scopper

We pick as we go so at least we don't have that to look forward to. I don't envy you!

It's been beautiful here too!!! it was 64 here today!
I did pooper scoopin too yesterday. Got alot. Ron has been out there throughout the winter so it hasn't been REALLY bad, but I don't go out there in the snow & ice to do it. I'm to afraid I'll slip. Don't need another hip or knee surgery. I'd rather have a poopy yard! Didn't get out there today, but I will tomorrow again. It will be more melted even with higher temps tomorrow!!!
And why do they INSIST on pooping ontop of the snow & ice instead of where it melted already!

It wasn't too bad here either, sunny, and about 45.

It's been a combination or rain and humidity over here. The plants and grass really need the rain, after the heat wave everything was dying off. Can def tell it is getting close to a season change.

I am LOVING this weather. It is my dane girl shining down on me!! I walked our IW yesterday. He was in sniffing heaven! We had so much snow and so often that it was a poopy mess in our yard, too. I have been having to clean it as the layers melt. It is sadly kind of like cleaning up diarrhea, because of all the snow. YUCK!!! I normally keep it cleaned, but during the snow storms, it is too hard to clean it, and then we had ice. I have never let it get this bad before, and hopefully will never again.
