Sitting here not doing what I should be doing.

I am sitting here at the computer. I am supposed to be working on our taxes. It is not that hard because I keep a spead sheet all year. I just need to program in totals and make a list for the CPA, but HECK, I do not want to work!

So instead, I am playing with the dogs, and taking pictures; checking my email accounts; reading the Houston paper and, of course, eating.

I have also found the time

to stalk my grown children and step-daughter on facebook and include a comment or two.

As a stalker my son has made it increasing hard on me because his posts and his friends posts are not only in English, but in Japanese and now German. How can a mother properly stalk her kiddo if she has to cut and paste words and sentences to google all the time to understand what is going on?

Not only does he have a new job, but I see that he has a grown a beard and mustache, and is sporting a a black eye from playing sports with co-workers. So glad we talked this weekend because the black eye would have freaked me out since I am a mom no matter his age.

My daughter is looking forward to summer break from teaching, and my step-daughter has a new job.

Don't you just love the internet?

Most are friends of my kids, and nieces and nephews. I have just a hand full of people from my past. I wasn't very popular.

I only have "friends" on facebook that I really like to talk too, LOL... I don't just "friend" someone just to make the numbers add up. So I only have I think 71 myself.

Anyone want another facebook friend to really talk to, not just a "number to add to your friends list, LOL" look me up. Doreen Kress Lockman. I'm always on there through out the day. But if I don't know you, I won't friend you, LOL.... might want to give me a heads up if I don't recognize the name.

I love facebook. A nice way to see what others are doing without having to get on the phone and talk for a long time. A brief message and bam... it's done, LOL.. you know they are ok, LOL. I mean, I like to get on the phone if I hadn't spoken to someone in awhile, but don't want to spend my life on there either, LOL.

That's what's nice about emails too. I have friends I will write a quick email to everyday. It's nice. You do it when YOU feel like it, when YOU have time. They respond when THEY feel like it and THEY have time. Works out great all around! Greatest invention, LOL.

My father in law writes a little quote on facebook everyday so we all know he is OK since he lives alone. This way, if we don't see something from him, we know something is wrong. My mother in law just started to learn the computer too after Christmas and she is on facebook now. It is funny because we have to figure out who she is speaking to. She writes on anyone's page or post but it doesn't pertain to that person, LOL. She writes under other friends comments, but not speaking to them, but to some other of our family member, LOL.

Sounds like me. I just got into Facebook because a friend's son asked me to 'friend' him. Suddenly, numerous people are emailing me to be my friend---some I actually know! I refuse to spend much time on it--I'd rather be here! Who knows if I'll get more involved or end up letting it die---if it ever will!

It is just after 11pm Tuesday night. June Bugs flying everywhere, outside and inside the house. Yikes!

A puppy threw up a bunch of June Bug parts.

I DID manage to get some tax stuff done.

Shiro taught the puppies how to shred up the "poo and pee here" newsprint I have down on the floor near the door. "Good boy Shiro. Love you!"

I put a storage box next to the twin bed the dogs are allowed on and taught the puppies how to climb up and down. Stupid . . . I know.

Some how I managed to "tag" a picture of my son on his facebook wall and put it on my wall. I bragged about my new skill and was teased by a nephew and a cousin's daughter for being so proud of myself.

My daughter has changed her facebook profile picture to a picture of her in Boston Red Sox gear, and my son has more friends posting in German.

Yeah! It just started RAINING!

I get to drive 2 hours to see the endocronologist tomorrow.

Doreen, Brilliant idea on your father in laws part . . . posting on facebook to let everyone know he is okay. Love it!

Off to bed after I read all the new posts here.

I know... it just doesn't make sense to me... but whatever......

I don't want a bunch of stuff piled up on my facebook page to pass over just because I want "friends" LOL LOL.... I like to read what people write. But I don't want to know that someone just went to the toilet, LOL LOL.
