Hello everyone!!!!
I am soooooo happy to be back home. The pups are just as happy to have me. Ron put them in the back yard before I came into the house. I came into the family room where the patio doors are. Their tails and butts were wiggling so fast, LOL LOL. Once I sat down & put my walker in front of me, Ron opened the door. They were gentle, sniffing me all over but did not jump. Like they knew! Afterwards Coco laid down under my walker like there was no way she was letting me go anywhere! Rex laid by the door. He was ready to get back to routine. It was a gorgeous day so he wanted to go inside then outside, inside, then outside..... Later he climbed halfway up on my good side and laid his head on my chest, looking up at me, like he was so happy to have me home! It felt so good to have my babies all around me again!!!
Ron said he wonders what bedtime will be like. Rex usually doesn't stay in our bed. He starts out there but once I come to bed he leaves. Coco always stays. But since I've been gone, Rex has taken my spot.
I can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight without anyone waking me in the middle of the night for blood pressure, wake me early to eat, wash & dress to get to physical therapy! Although I will be having a visiting nurse come to do blood work a coulple times a week because of the bloodthinners they put me on post surgery to prevent blood clots. I will also have a therapist come to my house awhile since I can't drive for about 4 more weeks to get to out patient therapy. Gotta keep those muscles moving! It will be hard getting the dogs locked up every time those people come since I walk so slow yet with a walker & you know how crazy they get once the door bell rings!
Ok...I filled you guys in on what's going on with me.
We are all happy here now!!!!
