hello again

hi all!

it has truly been ages since I've really been on here! I started a new job at a salvation army homeless men's shelter in Hamilton (ontario) in November and its been rather a learning curve for me! I was so nervous to start there but I'm finding that I really enjoy it, though it can be very draining.

I also started teaching first aid - I passed all the testing and will teach my first (paid) course in January.

So things have been a bit busy with all that!

How is everyone?! it sounds like christmas and new years was a good time for everyone?! I worked a lot over the holidays, which was fine.

Glad you're back!
Sounds like you have been very busy, I'm sure it is interesting rewarding work, but as you say also draining--both physically and emotionally I imagine!
Looks like many of us are having crazy-warm weather at this point, we're wondering if 'winter' will show up in March and kill all the new sprouts. Hope not!

HI Annie, nice to see you back on here, was wondering where you had got too...... Congrats on passing all the tests for First Aid and good luck with teaching your first course, you'll be fine I am sure. Your job sounds interesting - tell us more.....
