LOL - so we're eating "Buddy's chicken" and he knows it! He doesn't want his kibble and stares at us and whines while we eat. So funny!

Ahhhh, poor Buddy, he has certainly mastered the art of making you feel guilty for enjoying his grub!

Yeah, how does he do that? Instead of thinking of being up every hour with the runs, or how many times I'd cleaned the floor, I'm thinking Awww, "I'm eating his food."

Do boxer's have a hidden ability to do mind control?

Oh no, he now knows that everything else tastes better than kibble. You will a have hard time getting him to eat kibble again. He will go on a hunger strike until you show him that chicken. Boxers can become spoiled very quickly. I know from experience.

We've been giving him a cup of kibble in the morning just to keep him used to it. Our behaviorist suggested we might want to do that in case we need to give it to him for travel or other reasons where raw will not be practical.

So far he's eating it, but it's in the morning when he's hungry, and also I have fish oil mixed in so it doesn't seem so "kibbley"

He really has become a chow hound now though. I can't be in the kitchen without him whining at me. Since he's eating the same kind of foods as us, it's hard for him to know when it's his or ours.
