Default Probiotics

I just started Daisy on Dr. Mercola's probiotics 2 days ago and she doesn't seem to want to eat her food with it on. Did anyone else have this issue? I am giving her the Theraputic Amount (3 scoops a day) so I added peanut butter into her food and she seemed to have more interest in it then and ate it, but very slowly. She didn't mind the last probiotic we had her on (it was purina flortiflora) but we wanted to switch her because Dr. Mercola's formula had so much more in it. Any suggestions? I am thinking about buying her the wet version of her food to mix it with the kibble. But I am open to any suggestions or even another product that has the same health benefits.

Our holistic vet told us to give the probiotics at night before bed. We mix it with either peanut butter or canned dog food (just enough so they eat it). Not sure if that will help her get over her taste issue though. Sometimes when my guys won't eat something I want them to I make them think it's a treat, make them do a behavior and they will eat it. I feel bad for tricking them, but it seems to work lol!

Buddy gets fussy sometimes, although I've not had it with probiotics. Sometimes with his Garlic & Yeast supplement. I just split it up into smaller doses throughout the day. Mixing it with peanut butter sounds like a good way too - add some oats and you have doggie cookies.

Thanks I will try those options! I think it would help to be a treat versus on her food. We'll try and see
