I put left over chicken (plain chicken no spices etc lol) and then a bit of PB to get it to stay in there. I also put dog biscuits by California Natural and Innova Evo in them. Dried liver and PB. I remember someone on here putting plain yoghurt in and then freezing it - always meant to try that one.

I was going to buy Deuce one but wasn't sure how they worked. It seems like you can put almost anything in them.

You can put his dinner in them if you feed kibble - stuff 4-5 of them - keeps them busy for ages. Lately I have been putting a little cooked meat in the end then a sardine and then a bit more cooked meat and sealing the ends with duck pate - mine are such spoilt little babies...............This keeps Roddy busy for a good hour - honestly - he licks and licks at it trying to get the food out.

Just something to think about too.... after stuffing all of these foods in there that are perishable, don't forget to wash them thoroughly. Peanut is what I use as a base to hold everything else together, but if you don't wash it, you will get mold. I make sure I use a butter knife to get into all the grooves all the way at the bottom that I can't reach with my finger, and I use a flashlight to see into it good too. I know alot of work, but I feel safer doing it. That is why I have alot of them and keep them all filled in the freezer so they are cleaned, filled and ready for the next time I need to use them.

You can put yogurt in there and freeze it. It is like a wonderful dessert for the dog. You also can plug one end, mix knox gelatin and chicken broth and pour it in. You refrigerate it and it turns into a non melting, chicken jello delight for the dog.
