When is the best time to switch from a puppy food to an adult dog food? Should I wait until she is a year old?

It all depends on what the dog does, how active the dog is. i kept my puppies on puppy food till one year of age, this way the dog is getting the nutrients it needs, and also what kind of food depends on the switch also, if the food contains corn, bean- basically any none meat product first on the list of ingredients than i would keep puppy on puppy chow for a while.

I think one year is the normal rule of thumb.

Wow, 10 weeks seems extremely young. Every dog I've ever had has stayed on puppy chow until a year old or thereabouts.
