Tie Smells Different

A few weeks ago i switched tie to Timberwolf: Wilderness dog food from Royal Canin Natural blend. I noticed that he now has a distinct oder to him. It's a "bad" smell really, but i can definitely smell the new food.

Anyone else experience this with their dog food?

Any idea what might cause the smell? i'm thinking maybe the fish oil from the salmon?

Boo eats a salmon based food and doesn't smell. I suppose it could be the fish though, when people eat a lot of garlic or curry we get an odor. It seems strange though for dogs since they don't sweat, but who knows.

Are you going to change foods for him?

no i'm not chainging again. He's doing very well on the food expect for the strange order. I can only smell it when i get close to him and it's not over whelming or anything.

My brothers doberman is on the same food and he has the same smell.
