A few weeks ago i switched Tie to a new food. For the first while, he happily ate it. But over the past few days he's been basically saying..."i'll eat it, but i don't like it."

I got him the same brand today, but with Chicken instead of fish. He ate it no problem

Anyone else have a dog who decided he didn't like his food anymore?

Keepers is always playing that game with me. We now do a rotation of several different types of food (raw, freeze dried and kibble) and supplement with different meats, eggs and cottage cheese. The one thing I learned is that if he turns up his nose at what I put in his bowl then he doesn't get anything the rest of the night, no snacks, nothing. He seems to be getting the message.

Did Tie stop eating when you switched bags? Maybe there was something wrong with the batch?

Not that Lucky doesn't like her food, she always eats it twice a day at the same time, however ever since she's been eating from a new bag I got a couple weeks ago she has been... et hum... passing gas quite frequently. I guess sometimes food is different from bag to bag - or lot# to lot#. So, I've been thinking of switching her to a food that I can buy at our local pet shop (not petco or petsmart). They carry a lot of 6 star food, just not Orijen. Plus, it is buy 10 bags of any food get the 11th free and competitive prices. Thinking of Innova EVO b/c they seem to have the same philosophy as Orijen as being grain free, etc. but haven't personally known anyone who feeds it.
As for Tie, maybe just switch back and forth between the chicken and fish formulas, like a week at a time or something to keep his pallet interested.

I tried another food yesterday which he seemed to like, it was only a sample pack from the pet store though. This morning i gave him rice, broccoli and ground beef We'll see how he is tomorrow.
