Annual check up
To remove this ad please Register Ruby went for her first annual check up and to get her booster shot today. The sweet little girl who weighed 8 kg (17.5 lbs) in December 2008 now weighs 28.4 kg (62.5 lbs) ...... gosh they grow so very quickly - she weighs more than my 10 yr old now lol. Vet said she was in great shape and Ruby thanked her for her complement with a big slobbery Boxer kiss lol, lucky the vet has a big soft spot for Boxers he he. Daddy then spoilt her for being a brave girl by buying her a giant tennis ball and a nice big brisket bone from the butcher....... which she seems to have stashed somewhere in the yard - she came into the house with what I swear was a devilish grin on her face and dirt covering her nose, I tried to grab my camera to show you guys the evidence but she took off out the back before I could!

That's sounds like a great visit! Glad she's doing well. As you said elsewhere, proper diet is so important. The foundation of health. Now hopefully you won't see the vet for another year!

Awww well done Ruby for being so good and for being so nice to the vet! It would be great to see some pictures of her with that new giant tennis ball...............
