Anyone heard of or Done 'Dock Dogs'
To remove this ad please Register This weekend the boat and sportsmen show is in town and they are having trials to qaulify for the dockdogs comething or other regionals.... Never heard of it until now. I may go check it out. Anyone else done or heard of this????

I love watching them! I would love to own a retriever one day and try something like that. I can just imagine telling one of my two to jump in a pool. Ha! Though there is someone on our Boston Terrier forum who has done it with her boston.

so we went and watched the dock dogs. It wasn't what i really expected. I had pictured dogs running off the dog and leaping as far as they possibly could to fetch a toy... out of the 10 dogs we watched only one flabrador actually leaped.. and he only went about 4 feet... all the other dogs chickened out or just kinda went to the edge.. hesitated.. and plopped in..
