Rubys job is to clear the world of squirrels and to eat me out of house and home! Seriously though, I think they make excellent PAT dogs - "Pets As Therapy" dogs - where the dog is taken to visit people in nursing homes and hospitals, etc.

I have heard of them working as assistance dogs, therapy dogs, police dogs, protection (this video blew me away http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xioBw...eature=related), herding (remember I posted the video of Pip) I have heard of a few people on farms with Boxers over here but not sure exactly what their jobs on the farms are and my Ruby girl makes a good nanny lol she's always tattling on the skin kids.
