I've seen my brothers dob destroy a kong before. So are there really any toys our pups can not destroy?

We have come to realize Buddy is an "aggressive chewer" (Who knew!) who's first goal with any toy is to destroy the squeaker, and second is to destroy the toy it came in. So now when I shop for toys, I look for toys realizing his "issues."

A couple that seem to be working out nicely are the JW Pet Company iSqueak Bone Rubber Dog Toy and the West Paw Design Zogoflex Dog Toy. The latter doesn't have a squeaker, but if I put peanut butter in it, he's equally enthralled. He also has a "hard boiled" toy like the
Kyjen Hard Boiled Softies Dog Toy (but not the dog) which is loves! It is showing some wear (although the squeaker still works!) but he's really given it a lot of aggressive attention.

We also just got him the Kyjen Hide-A-Squirrel Puzzle Toy for Dogs but he doesn't know it yet. It got a lot of good reviews so I'm hoping it will be a good buy.

I'd be interested in what others have tried.

Has your brother's dob tried the blue kong? It's meant to be 25 percent tougher.

Gunner is our rough one with toys. We do not do stuffies in our house as he destroys them within 5 minutes. We have the Cuz that he hasn't destroyed and the Jolly Ball.

As we all know, Rex loves his Jolly/teaser ball. When you watch him run out the back door, his head goes from side to side, just looking for his purple ball. That is his mission, LOL. Well, I did discover a crack in it the other day, near one of the openings. He doesn't chew it, so it is probably from us throwing it and it hitting the concrete all the time. Otherwise it is pretty indestructible. I don't know about the Dobie, but for the average good chewer, this is the longest toy we have had. Also the solid jolly ball, the one without the handle on it, I still have from my past boxer Roxy, so we are talking about 15 years old. Has many many scratches on it, but still going strong. There is nothing on it to grab, there for they can't chew it. Rex loves that one too, but it gets lost all the time since he plays soccer with it all the time and it gets stuck under or behind things.

That ball does look like fun, I have looked for one for Ruby and found one on ebay for $40 plus $10 postage - $50 for a ball!

No Way!!!! I just ordered a new one on Amazon. It is only $19.99 !!! I only ordered it since I ordered a few of the toys that Sally posted, just so I don't have to go to the store to pick one up, since Pet Smart is farther away from me to get to where I can get it in person. I forgot, I even got free postage since I ordered over a certain amount of $$, I forget what it is anything over $25 or $30, Many items ship free.... there are a some that don't fit in that category, but it will always tell you if it qualifies for free shipping.

I guess the push and play ball is the other one that I have that was Roxy's from way way back

Amazon.com: Jolly Pet 10" Teaser Ball Blue: Kitchen & Dining
Holy Crap! I just went on Amaon to place an order for the Jolly ball, one of the toys in Sally's post (the little one you can put PB in) and another small toy and they wanted to charge me over $90 just in shipping! Thats without the cost of the toys and withour the currency conversion........oh well, no Jolly ball for Ruby.

Awwww..... I would like to help you be able to get one. When I get my new one, I could take it to UPS and Post office here and see how much it would cost to send it to you if you would like. I have no clue since I've never sent anything anywhere outside the US.

Oooh thats so sweet Doreen, but you don't have to - she's got me wrapped around her paw lol and I bought her the one on ebay.....she'd better like the damn thing for that price lol, I figured it has lasted you a long time (did you say in another post you had it for Roxy and Rufus?) and you have two playing with it (well kinda, Rex doesn't seem to share it much lol) so it will be worth it if it lasts a few years. Thanks for offering though
