you might not be able to ask a dog if he wants a tail docking or dew claws removed...

you also can't tell them "I told you so" after they break their tail or snag a dew claw and have an emergency trip to the vet.


Ears are a different storey but that's just my opinion

Coco's dew claws were removed already, but Rex still has them. My vet said if Rex doesn't go into the brush, that it wasn't necessary, so he will keep his. I did have my past 2 boxers claws removed when they were pups. I really doubt if Rex will be going into woods.

yeah peaches has hers still and we don't plan on getting them removed either. Peaches goes into the woods but even if they are surgically removed now its gunna hurt.
