Poor boy....we turned the air conditioning on since it is getting so hot. When I took them out for their last potty, I closed the outside slider and he was the first one back up the stairs and walked right into it. He must have thought it was still open.

He sure gave me the stink-eye! I rubbed his head and kissed his wrinkles but he still wasn't happy with me.

I even checked on him later in the night just to make sure he would wake up. Can they get concussions?

I think it would take more then that for a concussion . I know mine ran into the glass deck doors many times when we first moved .They were always fine after.

Scared my daughter in the other room, it was so loud! Good thing he didn't bust the glass!

Awww... poor baby.... Mine have run into the sliders also. My screen too, which is now all bent out of shape and hard to close all the way, LOL.

when they are doing they're running thing, and the door has been left open, then I decide to close it, I put a chair in front of it so they will stop before hitting the door. Now they know why the chair is there.

Our screen was totally ripped out for the same reason. What I have done is bought the screen material for the slider and clipped it to the rails at the top with office binder clips and let the bottom hang loose. I have sewn on a couple of washers at the bottom to give it some stability and it doesn't blow so much in the wind. It is like a giant doggie door. They like to be able to sit on the deck but yet come in and out when they want.
