All dogs are diffent as to when they have their first season . manytimes it is about 9-12 months but for boxers there are many that wait until 18 months .
Ask the breeder where you got peaches from , many times they tend to cycle tha same as their mother .
Some of the first signs of heat may be some swelling a few days before the bleeding . Her personality may also change , sha may either become cranky or very clingy , she may act more agressive towards other dogs too . Or she may not have any personality change at all .
Taking her to the park should not be an issue unless you start to notice the males sticking closer to her back-end and really becoming interested in where she pee's .
Once the heat cycle actuially starts you need to keep her away from other dogs for 3 weeks , that is the average heat cycle . Some males ( neutered or not ) may get agressive if there is a female in heat around .
And be sure to give her a good bath after her cycle is done to help get rid of the smell.
