Can't remember whether we done this before or not, but still. How did you come to pick your dog's name? and if you have a registered dog - what's it's full title, if not registered - what would you have called it?

With my 2, they are the names they came with out of rescue - we tried really hard to think of something different, but we couldn't think of anything plus we figured that as they knew their names what was the point of changing them.

I have never had a registered dog, but if I could register a name for Ruby, it would be something like "Spoilt Little Princess" - says it all....!

Hubby got to name both of ours. He is a former marine and named them as follows: Scout-sniper and Door-Gunner.

My two also came with their Rescue names. We never even thought of changing them, LOL.

And I have no clue what I would have registered them as.

Edy's registered name is Bruin's Espresso by Stephlyn
Her call name ( Edy ) is because the litter had an ice cream theme . And I love Edy's ice cream .

Bruin's is my kennel name
Stephlyn is the stud dogs kennel name
Espresso is one of my favorite ice cream flavors

Howie was Bimberg's 'breakaway howie' bimberg was the breeder and breakaway howie is her sports theme with howie being Gordie Howe.

because we have been picking baby names for...ohhh almost 3 years LOL we had a baby book and went through it... I asked for portia after my favorite stripper (lol not really) and we both agreed upon peaches.

If peaches were registered and we were the breeders we probably would naturally do something with the dragon theme... but who knows.

I'm surprised he didn't call them Semper and Fidelis. Please tell him 'Thank You' for his service.

When we got our little guy, I looked at him and asked him what his name was. He was only ~5 weeks old so he didn't speak like he does now, but I'm pretty sure he said Buddy. He has lived up to it.
