i didnt really think boxers were very big diggers, but today i left my little one out alone for a couple min for the first time today and he was fine and all but when i went out to get him he had a big hole dug. its no big deal, he can dig all he wants, i just thought it was weird. i thought maybe it was because he didnt want to be out there alone but he never cried or barked about it. does you boxer dig?

I have only ever had adult boxers in the house - none of them have ever digged.

My past boxer Rufus dug under the fence as a puppy, but outgrew it, also we put brick all along under the fence so he couldn't do that anymore.

Rex dug a couple holes, but outgrew it also.

I think somewhere here and on a TV show on dog training, they had a children's sandbox that they let the dog dig in, so he wouldn't do it in the yard.

Ruby only dogs when she is trying to "age" her bones lol she likes a mature full bodied bone . A sandbox is a great idea for diggers
