Happy Gotcha Day Jakey, 5 years he has been with us on the 5 September. He sure has turned out to be a great dog. The first picture is so sad, poor boy, he was a yo-yo dog - adopted and returned, adopted and returned. What saddens me about it is if you look carefully in the first picture you can see that he has food in his dinner dish - now Jakey was a BIG boy when we got him - 6kg overweight but he was so stressed out in the kennels he couldn't eat.

Hee, hee both Jakey and I have lost some weight since this picture was taken!

He's a very handsome looking dog now, Stephanie. And he looks very happy too!

aww how could anyone take that adorable boy back to a shelter? they must have been crazy.

I am all choked up... I am such a sap when it comes to happy or sad stories!! I am so happy that this is a happy ending story!!! Congrats to Jakey and great job to you Stephanie for doing such a good thing for Jakey.

Erin, Jakey was abit naughty when we got him - he was very confused and fearful and this came out in some really quite aggressive behaviour. We had a dog previous who was also aggressive, so we kind of knew how to handle him, plus we knew by all the returns that he wasn't going to be an 'easy' dog.

Thank you all for your kind wishes, I know he isn't a boxer but he is my special boy and he means the world to me.
