Charlie has just made an appearance.... With a big stick to give me (he usuallly bring me a leaf or a stick as a gift) and covered in mud. I do mean caked in the stuff!
Now hes whimpering because hes going to have a bath to get all that mud off him. I will have a very wet dog all over me in a few minutes, wanting cuddles so he can recover from the emotional trauma a bath is!

Lesson to learn: roll in mud = bath!

I can see where your name comes from, lol! He needs a servant with habits like that!
I can't quite imagine Buddy rolling in the mud today - we're scheduled to get 14" of snow!!! I'm sure he'll be loving to plow his way through that, but at least he won't need a bath afterward.

Well there are a fair few spots in the garden that are very muddy, specially with all the snow thawing out. He had his bath , got dried up as best we could and then sat on my lap wrapped up in a fleece blanket feeling sorry for himself.
Not even a dog biscuit made him feel better. Poor little thing!
Just a lesson to learn, if your going to dig and wallow in mud then fine but dont complain you get a bath after. Cream carpets and mud dont mix well.

Peaches got one today and it was exactly the same.... zooming around the house rolling on the carpets rubbing against couches.

Nop, cuddle is all he did. He just laid there for nearly 2 hours all snuggled up and warm waiting to dry off completely. We did try drying him with the hairdrier once but he hates the thing.
He is such a good boy bless, mud and all. :P

Wally hates the hair dryer too! I made the mistake of taking him to one of those 'you do the work, we provide the space' doggie wash places, and he did fairly ok until I got him up on the pedestal to dry him. Clipped him with THEIR restraint, turned on the dryer and 'BOING' he was off the stand with the remains of the clip hanging from his collar. We do much better with the RapidBath in summer, and bathtub in winter with LOTS of towels!!

What no pics???? I need some proof that the sweet white baby would do such a thing LOL.
Ruby does the zoomies too, we have to make sure the door is shut until she calms down so she doesn't undo all our hard work rolling around outside, she doesn't mind the hair dryer - she will just stand there and look at you as if to say "are you done yet?"
