My deprived dogs
To remove this ad please Register
My poor pups have no sofas in the family room, which also means they can't look out the window either. The front windows are high off the floor, so only their noses reach the bottom of the window sill when on their hind legs, LOL. They are not happy campers. My old sofas are out at the curb as of last night and I am waiting for delivery of new ones now till 6:00 pm. The dogs sure know something is going on cause they keep walking around crying, LOL. I put a couple of hassocks there, but they aren't comfortable with them being so tiny. But that's all I got! Rex sat on them, but I don't think he will attempt to stand up to look out the windows.
Well within 3 hours, I think they will survive, but by the way they sound, you wouldn't know it. I did put their dog beds in there since I do have my recliner in there and watching TV. I'm sure as soon as I put my feet up, I will a dog or 2 in my lap!

Deprived no longer, LOL.... I didn't even get a chance to put the doggie cover on it yet! It was only in the house 5 minutes, after they got done sniffing all over where the delivery guys had been, he hopped right up there, looked out the window and lay down, LOL.
Still don't have a cover on that one yet, no time. I am on my way out the door for a dinner date with a couple of girlfriends, so the sofa will be christened with dog hairs for tonight.
Gee, I wonder if I'll get 20 years out of this set like I did my old ones?

I like yours too, but since the exact same style sofa in my living room is a pattern, this time I wanted to go with a solid. Although with all the coverings I have on it at this moment, you can't tell what's under it, LOL. I'll have to take a photo of them now with the covers to protect them, which I would take off if I got company, so for one, they wouldn't have to sit on doggie sofas and 2, they can see my new furniture instead of my 20 year old, out dated stuff.

Well, my sofas are well protected now. No more pretty furniture, LOL.
My house was never a showcase, never will be, LOL.

Tell you what i would love to get my hands on the cream covers you have for my sofas. I have a 3 seatter and a 2 seatter in black leather and charlies nails will be ripping holes in them in no time.
You house looks lovely. Im not one for show homes either, i like my house to look nice but at the same time it has to be lived in and theres two small children in there too (one being a furry Charlie). Your home looks lovely and cosey.
