Charlie's weigh in

He has now been weighed and at 3 and a half months he is 32 lbs and 6 ounces.

He weighs double what my 2 year old weighs and then some. Cant exactly say were starving him or not providing good care. LOL Everytime anyone sees him all they can say is how huge he is and how much he grows in the space of time they dont see him. He is also getting very strong.

When we play tug with him its like trying to pull a car hes that strong.

Funny thing is that whenever he does something wrong (like play too rough with the little one, use too much teeth in play fights, toilet accidents) its my other half that deals with him and tells him off yet hes more scared of me. He respects me which is a great thing! Were teaching him no to bark in the house and sometimes he gets a bit excited and barks so we tell him to stop. Sometimes he doesnt and all i have to do is (in my stern voice) tell him "Charlie no barking! Stop and sit!" and he does straight away and looks at me all sheepish and then comes over and gives me his paw to say sorry. If my other half tries he just ignores him. LOL

My baby is growing up! Hes a big boy! I love my puppy! Total mummy's boy i think. hehehehe

awww big boy, he only 3 lbs less then Bo at that age(who is now around 66lbs) so you are in for it. Bo is now double the weight of my 2 year old too. but luckily they can handle each other very well.

I put some recent ones in the picture section a few days ago. Those are the most recent we have and theres 2 there, one on my lap the day we got him and the other on my lap a week or so ago. Theres a HUGE dieference.

I will take some more soon and post them aswell.

how heavy was he when you brought him home?

Newman is 12.5 pounds i belive

I dont know exact weight but my estimate is that he was around 18 lbs. Even then he was a large pup for his age. He was 2 months and a week or so.

So in a month and 2 weeks hes put on 14lbs and a bit. Nearly doubled his weight.

Charlie is just days older than my Ziah and he was 10 lbs more than her and I thought she was a big. Of course boys typically weigh more than girls. He is so adorable
