We pick Ruby and Fudge up today. I can't wait to see them, I've missed them soooo much! Apparently Fudge is quite the little gentleman and has done wonderfully and Ruby ....well Ruby is our ADHD girl lol and we LOVE her.

VERY similar lol, yes she does whine alot and when there is someone outside whom she wants to go see her whine gets "chatty" lol sounds like a whine and that fury starwars creature combined - never fails to make me laugh.

They were so very happy. Ruby's tail was going non stop (she came up first) and we had to all turn our backs and cross our arms until she calmed down (so we didn't get into trouble off the trainer lol) but we felt soooo mean doing it. DH and I were with the trainer being taught how to fit her new training collar when Fudge came up and as soon as he saw the kids he started sooking they picked him up and cuddled him and he just kept sooking like he was telling on the trainers and having a go at us for leaving him there lol, when I had finished with the trainer I went and gave him a cuddle and he finally shut up.

They settled down after a couple of hours at home and this is what they did for the rest of the day he he

Unfortunately yesterday morning when I went to let Fudge out of his crate to go to the toilet I found him there covered in poop . So after a visit at the vet he is on chicken and rice and some meds for a few days (they said he probably just picked up a bug from one of the dogs).

I got them these at the pet shop today (thanks Sally for the toy recommendations) Lol I'm a sucker - I missed them so now they are getting spoilt, but they have to wait a couple of days until Fudge is feeling better before they can have it.

Beautiful pictures - I LOVE the large size - [I need glasses badly I think....] Poor Fudgie - how is he doing now? Is he feeling better? I have to tell you I am really bad with my dogs - I let them jump all over me when I get home - I know I shouldn't, but we don't get many house visitors and the ones we do have love dogs so they don't care much either. I am abit strict with them when my little nephew comes to stay and then I make them sit, but I love their jumpy welcome and their barks and kisses and whatever......

So now - can you tell us about this training collar please - I am curious to know more about this........

Sorry Gizelle what does sooking mean? I don't know this expression.

I would be sooo interested to know how yours go with the toys - I'm thinking maybe I could buy them and give it to the separate rooms and then pick them up when they are done.....

I know exactly what you mean when you say "her whine gets "chatty" lol sounds like a whine and that fury starwars creature combined". Buddy's the same way - very expressive. If he's upset and doing this, you don't need words to know it. But I feel like I can almost hear words with the intonations and various vocalizations. He is the most "talkative" dog we've ever had.

And his eyes are so expressive too. Mike says he reminds him of a monkey and I can see what he means. Boxers are different than many dogs because their eyes are more on the front, than sides, of their faces.

I was also going to ask you about the training collar. Is it the purple one in the pic? What training did the trainer work on?

I just ordered Buddy another tug-a-jug tonight. He's had the one for about two years and plays hard with it every day. I noticed that the screw threading on the bottom is cracking and I don't want to risk having it break open. We were saying we don't feel badly at all about buying another when we think of all the hours of play he's had with it. I think Ruby will really like it!

So funny to think of you having to turn your back on her and cross your arms. It reminds me of when young children do something and you want to laugh but you have to try and act serious so you don't encourage bad behavior. We have a bit of role reversal with that now because our kids are grown up and we start to laugh at the grandchildren until our kids send us a stern "don't encourage this" look, lol.

Nice to be all back together again - no place like home!
