What I Have Learned So Far...

is that boxer puppies are AWESOME! From the minute I had her in my lap and we were getting ready to leave she was in my heart to stay. My children are fascinated by her and love her, although her puppy resilience is causing my 3 1/2 yr old and my 2 yr old to cry and shy away at times. When she begins the puppy nipping on their clothes or feet, they go crazy crying and telling her now. I know she's not trying to hurt them and I try telling them that but they don't want to hear it, lol.
Next thing I have learned is that they love to investigate, its true that boxer puppies are like 2 year old children because they get into and find everything so I must saying finding a hair ball in my girl's mouth was quite funny!
She is still getting used to eating and drinking, we don't quite have her on a schedule yet as this weekend was a 'getting used to us' period. Hopefully after a few normal work days she will be good to go. She loves sleeping with us and might I add my SO loves her sleeping with us too. He was so sick last night and she was sleeping peacefully in her cage and he said 'bring the puppy in here, it will make me feel so much better with a sad face to follow' I was like are you kidding, so I brought her in there and she slept with us once again.
It killed me leaving her there this morning, but SO just went back to let her out and check on her, she was doing good! She had been in her crate since 7am (this was at 11am) and hadn't gone to the bathroom at all!! Yah she is only six weeks old and I was so proud of her
We've had a few accidents in the house, but she's getting the idea...I know it will take a bit to get it all right. I love the thought of coming home to her and letting her out to play, she loves our outdoor cat the way, who also loves to rub all over Roxy like she's her best friend (I will get a picture of this).
