friday morning bo went in and got his manhood taken away. we had him stay the night there because we had a family get together we had to go to that night, we picked him up first thing saterday morning. his first day home he was pretty good, of course wanted to lick himself but was pretty good about stopping when told to "leave it". he is still a bit swollen down there but it is slowly going down. he lost about 5 lbs but that is understandable because he couldnt then wouldnt eat for about 32 hours then was eating very little for another day. he is back to his normal eating habits now and seems to be feeling better. the inscision is healing well and it doesnt seem to bother him much now. since the surgery i have noticed that he listens to us better and actually seems a little bit calmer in general.he still gets in those little excited fits but calms down pretty fast. as i type he is just laying on the floor chewing on his bone, being a good boy..
anyway i just wanted everyone to know how he is doing

The boys seem to come thru much better than the girls--not as invasive I guess. I laughed when we picked Wally up after his 'procedure' and they said 'now, keep him quiet for a few days!' HA! We were lucky to keep him quiet for a few hours! Boy do they bounce back quickly! Glad he's doing well!

Glad to hear Bo is doing well! Makes me wonder if having Roxy fixed won't calm her craziness down for a while, I have a while to wait though.
