Meeting your first Boxer

I thought this would be fun...
I met my first Boxer while sitting front row at the Moscow Circus. (I was 12 years old) There was an act which was an all Boxer dog Basket ball team. The dogs came out into the ring and played basket ball against each other, well the ball came toward me and landed in my lap. I then met several Boxers all at once :0) very up close and personal. I loved dogs so much, my brother later got a Boxer, a flashy fawn named Jeff. It was sad when he moved away and took Jeff with him

I met my first boxer when I walked through the door of a dirty, run down house, after being greeted by a crazy looking woman in a wheelchair wearing a nightgown that rode half way up her thighs. Pushed up against one wall of a smelly, junk filled kitchen was a large crate with a bunch of boxer puppies and their mother.
I could have left and not missed anything there, except for one small whinny pup who fell asleep in my arms as soon as I picked him up. I got down to eye level with his mom and said, "Don't worry, we'll take good care of him."

Must have been about 16 years ago when we first thought of looking for a dog and not knowing what kind we really wanted and we went to a puppy place and fell in love with a boxer there.

the first boxer i met was my best friends cousins dogs, they had three, two females and one male.. i hated them!!! they were soo dumb, which i know was really just from bad training. then they bred one(the white one ) and kept one of those pups too which was also poorly trained.. anyway like a dumby i assumed all boxers were like that, and it wasnt untill i met my now husbands dog jewel that i realized otherwise.. she was like 10 years old when i met her, a complete sweetheart and very well trained, that is when i fell in love, she died spring of 2009, and we got bo a year and a half later

I donlt know when I actually met my first boxer .
I remember seeing the poster of dog breeds at the vets office when I was little, I would always point to the boxer and say "I want that dog "

Our neighbors got a boxer puppy a couple of years after we got Carli. She was a beautiful girl and very well behaved. Unfortunately, she got cancer, and after massive treatments and a couple of remissions died at the age of 8. They now have a boxer cross who is also a very nice dog.
