Default crate size for 2 boxers?

What size crate would you recommended for 2 boxers (both in the same crate ,both males and 6 months old but I want to size the crate for when they are full grown.

they will probably be in the crate at night and when we are gone and they are inside.

We only have one, but I can't imagine crating them together when you're gone. What if they got in a fight?

I would not put 2 in the same crate either .

Right now they are puppies but when they get older and are trying to determine who is dominant you may end up with some fights . If they are crated together either one will not be able to get away from the other if a fight does occur . They will not have the flight option and will only have the fight/defense option .

Imagine what could happen if a fight breaks out when you are not home and both boys are in the same crate .

And you do not want them to end up too dependant on each other . They both need seperate time .

a 36 inch crate is the size to get for one adult boxer .

Aside from all the above reasons--it would have to be a crate sized for a St Bernard!

yeah one crate sounds like a bad idea to me.. it might be ok for the moment but within a month or two as the mature you i could have some problems.... we have the largest crate you can get for just Bo who isnt even full grown, and i couldnt imagine putting two full grown dogs in it, they just wouldnt fit... but to large sized crates would be good.

i was planning on individual crates but saw several pics on here of 2 boxers in one crate so I figured i would ask about the size. I figured if it was a bad idea I would hear about it lol

I have had mine squeeze into tha same crate many times and while I am here it is not a big deal . I just don't let them stay together when we are not home .
